ScoreMux Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 29, 2026
ScoreMux is a sheet-music app for iPhone and iPad made by one person. Its privacy rules are simple:
ScoreMux does not collect any data.
- Your work saves on the device first. PDFs, songs, shows, set lists, markings, cuts, settings, and reading positions remain available without a connection.
- Private sync uses your iCloud. ScoreMux copies this work to your private CloudKit database when iCloud is available. Apple ties that database to your Apple ID. It counts against your iCloud storage. The developer cannot view its contents in the developer portal. ScoreMux has no server or account system of its own.
- The microphone is used only by the tuner. When you open the tuner, ScoreMux listens so it can show you your pitch. The audio is analyzed live on the device and immediately discarded — it is never recorded, saved, or transmitted. Closing the tuner stops the microphone.
- No analytics, no tracking, no ads. ScoreMux contains no analytics frameworks, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party code that phones home.
- Sharing is always your move. If you export a marked part or share an edit file, that happens through Apple's standard share sheet, only when you tap it, and goes only where you send it.
ScoreMux does not receive or collect the content in your private iCloud database. It has no analytics or advertising service. Its App Store privacy label therefore reads "Data Not Collected."
